Scott L. Gordon, Pastor

Pastor Scott L. Gordon was born in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. He is a graduate of Sand Springs Public Schools; he also attended Tulsa Vo-Tech, Oklahoma Junior College, RhemaCorrespondence Bible School(Diploma) and Oklahoma School of Religion.
He met and married his sweetheart, Kristi (Rider) Gordon, and is the proud father of Brandon, Nastosha and Taylor. He was licensed and ordained by the late Reverend Ervin Ruth. Under his leadership, Scott Gordon held the office of Youth Minister for five (5) years prior to becoming the Interim Pastor. He was called to pastor Calvary Baptist Church and the installation services were held on February 8, 2002. He believes that the church is a hospital and that everyone is welcomed to the spiritual, mental, financial and physical, healing that only God can provide.
Rev. Gordon was a member of Sapulpa Christian Community Center. He is currently the Youth Minister of the Canaan District Baptist Association. He is also a member of the International Fellowship of Christian Businessmen, Oklahoma Baptist State Convention, International Charismatic Bible Ministers and Sapulpa Ministers Alliance. He currently serves on the board of the T. Oscar Chappelle Oklahoma School of Religion, Bios Human Resource, and Camp Loughridge. Pastor Gordon also delivered the first message for the First Annual Tulsa Together Youth Service. Although Pastor Gordon is a busy steward, he also finds time for Prison Ministry and has previously hosted weekly devotionals for a group of young people called "Panthers for Christ".
On December 30, 2002, Pastor Gordon received his Pastor's Alternative Teaching Certification".
Pastor Gordon is a dynamic, energetic, passionate, spirited-filled, loving, warm, caring and sharing person; he is also a dreamer and a visionary. He can deliver God's message in his own unique and inspiring way. His goal is that all would be saved.
